Informal social event for all military veterans at Trinity Bar on February 24.
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (January 21, 2017)—The Veterans of Foreign Wars New Haven Post 12150 is organizing the 2017 Winter #VetEvent—an informal social for all military veterans—on February 24 from 7-9 p.m. at Trinity Bar & Restaurant (157 Orange St., New Haven).
“Our friends at Trinity are extending happy hour exclusively for the #VetEvent, so we can have a mid-winter social, welcome new and student veterans to the Elm City, and meet fellow veterans,” said VFW New Haven Cmdr. Charles M. Pickett.
All veterans and their friends are welcome for hors d’oeuvres, exclusive drink specials, and camaraderie. Proof of prior service gets veterans a free wristband for the event—especially veterans who signed up for the military at the old New Haven recruiting station: which is now occupied by Trinity Bar.
