NEW HAVEN, CT (May 29, 2021) Volunteers from the American Legion New Haven Post 210, the National Veterans Council For Legal Redress, the Yale Veterans Network, VFW New Haven Post 12150, and the City of New Haven Public Works held their annual beautification, unserviceable flag collection, and clean-up at the V monument at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park on Long Wharf Drive in New Haven. Despite the cold and rain, participants planted white and red geraniums, spread mulch, weeded, and beautified the five memorials at the park in preparation for the 2021 Memorial Day Sunday Ceremonies.
