Annual Fundraiser Celebrates Chartering of Post and Solemnizes Patriot Day—9/11 Never Forget

NEW HAVEN—The Veterans of Foreign Wars New Haven Post 12150 will hold their annual Founders Day event on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 5 .m. to 9 p.m. at the Commander Derek Torrellas’s house in Hamden. Proceeds from the event will go to the VFW National Veterans & Military Support Services program.

Chartered in 2015, the “new generation” post of mostly Post-9/11 veterans will solemnize Patriot Day—the National Day of Service and Remembrance—when Americans observe the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

VFW New Haven Comrades please RSVP for the informal event online.

The VFW is largest, oldest, and most powerful war veterans service organization in America. Interested veterans can learn more about the local VFW New Haven post online (VFWNewHaven.org) or on Facebook (@VFWNewHaven).
