New Haven Harbor Half & Back #VetHike

#VetHikes are informal & free hikes around greater New Haven with some veterans and friends for a few hours.

HALF & BACK: Free, fun, and flat 3-mile hike from the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park (Long Wharf Drive), crossing the Tomlinson Bridge to Dunkin (189 Forbes Ave, New Haven, CT 06512) for a pit stop and turn around. Free parking in small lot or on street.

#VetHike SOP: Coffee, camaraderie, friendly pets, and student veteran groups are welcome; however, there is no service, medical, or straggler support. Please no aggressive dogs,  visible weapons, or political stuff. Uniform is weather and hiking appropriate gear. Military-themed outwear is encouraged for service members and veterans. POC: Pickett
