The issue is moot as the design is limited to four colors on Connecticut license plates.

            DMV Employee,

Attached are copies of the three requested documents for a special license plate for our non-profit organization. Are these the correct documents the DMV is looking for?”

            – submit a copy of their charter of by-laws (Congressional charter)
            – letter of good standing from the State of Connecticut Secretary of State’s office (current Incorporation)
            – Internal Revenue Service (IRS) (exemption letter)

            Any guidance is appreciated.

I have CCed VFW Connecticut Adjutant / Quartermaster Ron Rusko who compiled these records today [thank you Ron].

            Cheers,
            Charlie

              • Need to contact DMV for additional printing information (CMYK, white, dpi)
              • Need to file paperwork with VFW national for use of seal or logo
              • #1 may not reproduce well because it is a photo (dots) and not a logo (lines and shapes) and the white just disappear or knockout so the blue background shows through
              • On the standard Connecticut “Veteran” plate with the flag on the left, it is exactly two inches (2″) from the staff to the bottom point of the fluttering flag.
