      DMV Copy Records

      Marcella,

Attached are copies of the three requested documents for a special interest license plate for our non-profit organization. Additionally, the Veterans of Foreign Wars national office has approved the Trademark Authorization Request for the VFW Department of Connecticut and the Connecticut DMV.

      Documents attached:
      – submit a copy of their charter of by-laws (Congressional charter)
      – letter of good standing from the State of Connecticut Secretary of State’s office (current Incorporation)
      – Internal Revenue Service (IRS) (exemption letter)

I have CCed VFW Connecticut Adjutant / Quartermaster Ron Rusko who compiled these records.
      Cheers,
      Charlie Pickett
      CC: Rusko

      • The organization must be a non-profit and needs to submit a copy of their charter of by-laws and a letter of good standing from the State of Connecticut Secretary of State’s office (as required), as well as any Internal Revenue Service (IRS) ruling of their non-profit tax-exemption status.
