NEW HAVEN, CONN. (May 24, 2020)–VFW New Haven Chaplain-Elect Eric Kropiwnicki offers the invocation during the downsized 2020 Memorial Day Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Great War Flagpole on New Haven Green. Members of the New Haven Mayor’s Veterans Affairs Advisory Committee were able to adhere to mandated social distancing and mask requirements during the 2020 global coronavirus pandemic and organize a ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park on Long Wharf and the Great War Flagpole on the New Haven Green.
